Go Green

Think outside the box before you throw something out.  Be green and recycle.  My girlfriend recently moved and wanted to do something different over her fireplace vs. the traditional mirror or picture frames.  So, what did she do???  She got creative.  For the center of this arrangement (she used a  wrought iron wall hanger that originally had a glass vase attached) and for the two sides (a wine bottle holder).  The wine bottle holder was unscrewed which resulted in two really cool graphic wrought iron pieces when turned on the side. The S was attached to the center to represent their last name. Really cool, huh?  What have you guys done to re-purpose items for decorating? I would love to show off your ideas...
